A Scent. Issey Miyake.

Perfumer:Daphné Bugey.
Countains amalfi lemon, verbena, jasmin, hyacinth, galbanum and cedar.

"A Scent" pays tribute to the “poetry of minimalism”, and was inspired by the smell of the mountains in Japan.
The bottle was designed by the avant-garde Arik Levy.
It is simple, minimal, raw. The logo, created by designer Taku Satoh, is engraved inside of the bottle.

The perfume is a clean green floral scent, that, (as it happened with the glorious but not understood "Léau Bleue" in the past) will bring confussion regarding the name and the marketing around it: Don't get me wrong. It is a clean, light scent, but is not as light as you could expect and definitely, it won't represent the purity and freshness of the air at all.

"A scent" opens slightly zesty but green, liquid green, bringing to me instantly an olfative deja vú of the smell of cut grass, dewy and gorgeous.
But instantly the green notes give way to a bubblely bervena that melts with a transparent floral mix of hyacinth, jasmin and light woods.

The perfume ends subtle yet noticiable, remaining floral with the hyacinth and jasmin as a main notes splashed by the soft green galbanum.

"A scent" is a nice scent with a transparent caracther, being refreshing in a new dimension without being too zesty or light, (meaning: without the typical "fresh citrus" or "aquatic" notes).
It has a weird green-floral "uplifting" twist that will appeal to many people.
A lovely green floral that leans beuatifully to the unisex side.
