Fat Electrician. Etat libre d´orange

Perfumer: Antoine Maisondieu.
Notes of white vetiver, olive leaf, metal note, opoponax, vanilla and mhyrr.

Etat libre D'orange launch a new perfume for men, inspired by the spirit of the film "midninght cowboy".

"Fat electrician" opens with a dry yet sweet vetiver, and then a synthetic metallic-sour sweet accord.
The vetiver note in the juice can be calificated as disturbing, not disgusting though, extremely arid, manipulated in an industrial way.
Highly fake, but retro-ike in the other hand.

The fragrance develops with the same concentrated aura, sometimes resinous, salty, and raw, (but not aquatic or marine).
The scent juxtaposes the dry, sweet-sour touch of the manipulated vetiver with the most sweeter, balsamic smokiness representation of opoponax and myrrh and changes from silver to green, then salty and then deep sweet.

"Fat electrician" dances between the natural and the synthetic, but is a well blended perfume, and even it is quite linear, it has a distinctive character: an arid, salty green presence that I love to bits.
An odd yet captivatibg green perfume.
