Piment Brulant. L'artisan Parfumeur.

Perfumist: Bertrand Duchafour.

Notes of raspberry, green pimento, clove, chilli pepper, black chocolate, poppy flower, musk and amber.

Inspired by an Aztec afrodisiac drink: a bitter mixture of chocolate with chili peppers, cinnamon, achiote and other spices.

On my skin, It's just pure seduction: first application and smell berries, sour berries with the poppy flower pretty straightforward. The pimento slowly intensifies and breaks a path through the sourness of the berrie accord and the velvety sweetness of the poppy, that even still present, It places itself in the background giving head to soft touches of black chocolate and clove, melding with a fiery chilli.

As it dries down, the chocolate goes a bit milky finish, but the pimento and the chilli stay still, heady and fiery.

I know that could sound sweet and rich. Well, It isn't really.
Piment Brûlant is a real pleasure to wear. It's light and more centered on green spicy notes with soft hints of gourmads, than sticky ones. On me, the spicy accords just stands out fantastic.
It's a seductive, intimate perfume. The sillage is admirable regarding the lack of fixatives.
