Countains: carnation, black pepper, clove, oppoponax, peru balm,myrrh, incense.
A curious reverse pyramid in this perfume.
Opens fiery and spicy, with overdose of Peru balm, clove and carnation blossoms.
Until here I only get the same opening of Carnation by Comme des Garçons, with loads of pepper increased.
After the sharp initial burst of the black pepper, the carnation reigns in a cristaline way.
Carnation blossoms go sweet and heady, into a layers and layers of delicate dewy and translucent petals.
As quickly as carnation appears, the next intruder brings an additional layer of spicy warmth: smoky note of incense start to sourround it all in delicate. Opoponax and myrrh give presence on a shy dry down, fadding off the flower accord and frost the black pepper.
The perfume is quite umbalanced at start, but develop into something light and magical, mostly ethereal and feminine.
A must have for carnation lovers
Sillage is glorious.
