After "A scent", its more flowery version is now on the market.
To me it has been a clever step because the original perfume could easily tagged eas unisex.
The bottle has the same shape as previous edition, but this time it has a pale pink shade in it.
The original fragrance was inspired by green smells and wide-open natural spaces,
now, "A Scent Florale" definitively represents a new floral dimension and its new colour: Pink. Liquid pink.
It starts with a floral accent where all is about jasmine. It captures the natural, bright, heady scent of a real jasmin flower with dewy touches, melting with a white hyacinth which in real flesh has a smoky-cold-like-cigarette ash undertone.
The perfume develops subtle, like a breeze.
You'll get a whisper of galbanum on it, a pink peony in the background. It has vague reminiscences of the original version: fresh and clean, but not green anymore.
All the flowers in the formula melt togheter nicely and the result is a scent of an imaginary light pink tropical flower that becomes a fragrance itself where is very difficult to identify any particular note separately.
Overall, "Florale" is not as natural as its predecesor. Despiste it lacks the intensity that you would expect in an Eau de Parfum, the floral nuances are much more present here comparing with the original but unfotunetely, the whole perfume develops slightly unreal and synthetic, as the same unreal scent made of the blend of thousand of different perfumes floating in a cosmetic shop.
People who enjoys the original "A Scent" but are expecting something new or more intense will be disappointed, but those who didn't enjoy the unisex spirit from the original and are looking for a more floral version, will enjoy this new scent.
Longevity is average. No more than 4 hours. It develops intimate, close to skin.
