"7:15 A.M. in Bali" keep enlarging the previous olfactory landscapes as “Amour”, “Flower”,etc.
To cover the boring repetitive path, Kenzo claims this perfume as the first of a upcoming travel-retail-exclusive range of fragrances, expected to be the first of a yearly series, each to take on an island theme. We'll have to wait to see the next results.
Its a soft fruity-floral-oriental perfume suitable,(aparently), for both man and female although it tends to the feminine side.
It start rather nostalgic , delicate and sweet with hints of the original "Kenzo Femme", soft, creamy, fruity and floral. The passion fruit in this juice is very addictive and reminded me instantly "Angel" (if you isolate itself), getting ridd off the chocolate accords. The orchid note is very creamy and has a vague reminiscent from the fantastic “Black Orchid” gourmard aroma. The jasmine here is just a vague shadow.
The perfume goes rather linear in the drydown when soft powdery textures comes along with a repetitive creamy wood touch raised before on “Vintage”, (cedar, orchid and vanilla).
The juice is a shy halo, it stays quite close to skin with no projection. A calm yet energizing mix.
Could it be "7:15 AM in Bali" a big rival substitute of Tom Ford's "Black Orchid"?? ( a perfume designed for women but very desirable and used for men like me).
I have my doubts.
Longlasting is more than acceptable 5 hours.
