Perfumist: Beth Terry.
Notes of sea salt, white ginger flower and avocado.
Refering the previous review, "Aqua Motu" and marine fragrances, I'd forced myself to talk about this perfume too:
The first sniff of "Mare" transport me into a fancy alive dream.
Me alone, in an idilic beach, large one, no one but me, walking on the seaside. There's a magnificent temperature and a subtle breeze transports the odor of the sea water, nice aquatic sea salt... The breeze brings, also, the aroma of fresh crisp, zesty white ginger flower, that grows aside on an imaginary endless promenade, and is dancing in slow motion with the wind. The composition is as simple as outstanding.
The simple blend of ginger flower with the salty accord and the green avocado note makes such irresistible and camalleonic. At times reveals hint of fruits?,citrus?, like a dewy green hint. I'm constantly impressed by how much simple composition can reveal so many facets.
I like aquatic yes, I like marine, yes.
But this perfume goes further. Can be easily compared with "Aqua di Gió" itself. It project enormeously, vibrant and alive.
The sillage is not fantastic, less than average, but what the hake!, this perfume is way thumbs up!.
