Perfumer: Rei Kawakubo.
Countains notes of ozone, citron, cinnamom, saffron, carnation, benzoin, vetiver, teak wood, and white musk.
Could you imagine a sherbert of cinnamom?. Well, you have It infront of you.
This fragrance is ice cold, refreshing, sparkling, clean, transparent. Gorgeous.
I never been keen of cinnamom smell. It has been sticky and overly sweet for me (as vanilla, another aroma I strongly dislike), till I approached this reinvention of the culinary spice.
The start of this perfume is mostly ethereal, clean. Loads of ozone, citron and gorgeous light and fresh cinnamom.
It develops slightly spicy, the cinnamom is the main note with the union of the citron juice, with the apparition of the saffron, giving way to the carnation note, fresh, dewy, shy but noticiable.
The composition develops into something more little woody. Just slightly.
There's no musk here ( I can't detect it), nor balsamic benzoin too.
The whole procces is just something so clean, so light, It's like a stella of something, like a whisper, clean, confortable, like air with a hint of soft cinammon and a hint to carnation too.
The sillage is admirable. It stayed on my skin for nearly six hour, coming and going, quietly.
There's no projection, It's an intimate perfume.
Hard to believe, but the result It's just so nice, innocent and clean, that doesn't smell like a perfume. I probably called "Baby Angel".
Another masterpiece of the "antiparfums" japanese designer.
